From the phone subscribed to the service:

Hit
the * Key when the system answers.

Enter your 7-digit mailbox (phone) number.

RECORD YOUR GREETING

Access your voice mailbox.

Press 9 for the mailbox setup menu.

Press 1 for greeting options.
-
Press 2 to record your greeting.
-
Record your greeting and then press #.
-
Press * to return to the main menu.
CHANGE YOUR PIN
-
Access your voice mailbox
-
Press 9 for the mailbox setup menu.
-
Press 2 to change your password.
-
Enter your new password and then press the # key.
-
When prompted to verify the password, enter it again and
then press #.
CHANGE
LANGUAGE FOR PROMPTS
You have X new messages and X saved messages.

Select 9 to set up your voice mail box

Select 5 to change your language settings.

Select 1 to hear instructions in English or Select 3 to
hear instructions in Spanish
RETRIEVE
MESSAGES

Access your voice mailbox.

Your first new message may play immediately. If not, press
1 to listen to your messages. You will hear the announcement
You have x new messages and x saved messages.

Press 1 to listen to new messages.

Press 2 to listen to saved messages.
WHEN RETRIEVING MESSAGES, YOU CAN:
Press 1 Play the message again
Press 2 Save the message and play the
next
Press 3 Delete the message and play the
next
Press 4 Save the message as new
Press 5 Reply to the message
Press 6 Forward the message to another
mailbox
Press 7 Skip backward in the message
Press 8 To pause the message
Press 9 To skip forward in the message
RECORD
YOUR MULTIPLE GREETINGS
Access your voice mailbox.
Press 9 for the mailbox setup menu.
Press 1 for greeting options.
Press 5 to pick the greeting (1-9)
Press 2 to record the greeting and then press #.
Press 5 to select a new greeting to record, or press * to return
to the main menu.
REPLY
TO A MESSAGE
Access your voice mailbox.
Your first new message may play immediately. If not, press 1
to listen to your messages. You will hear the announcement You
have x new messages and x saved messages.
Press 1 to listen to new messages.
Press 2 to listen to saved messages.
While listening to a message, press 5 to reply to the caller.
When you are finished, press the # key.
*NOTE-REPLY TYPE VOICE MAIL MESSAGES DO NOT WORK WITH E-FORWARD.
FORWARD
A MESSAGE
Access your voice mailbox.
Your first new message may play immediately. If not, press 1
to listen to your messages. You will hear the announcement You
have x new messages and x saved messages.
Press 1 to listen to new messages.
Press 2 to listen to saved messages.
While listening to a message, press 6 to forward a message and
follow the system instructions.
The person you are sending this to must also have WesTel Systems
voice mail, but they don’t have to have the same prefix.
If you want to forward to only one WesTel Systems’ customer’s
voice mail box, dial their 10-digit phone number in and hit
##.
If you want to send to multiple mail boxes, separate the phone
numbers with a single # key.
The system will verify that the number you typed in has voice
mail by repeating the phone number to you.
If the customer does not have WesTel Systems voice mail, it
will say the number you have dialed corresponds to no known
mail box.
When you are finished with the list, hit ##
To attach an introduction use the * key
After you are done recording your message hit the # key
SEND
A MESSAGE
Access your voice mailbox.
Your first new message may play immediately. If not, press 1
to listen to your messages. You will hear the announcement ,You
have x new messages and x saved messages.
Press the * key to get to the main menu
Press 3 to send a message.
Enter a list of mailbox numbers separated by the # key. Enter
an extra # at the end of your list.
Record your message and when finished, press #.
Press 1 to send the message.
SEND A MESSAGE WITH EXPRESS MESSAGING
Alternatively, you can send a message to another user by using
express messaging feature. This allows you to leave messages
specifically for any mailbox without ringing their phone. When
calls are received at the Express Messaging number, the service
prompts the caller to enter the mailbox they want to leave a
message for.
Dial XXX-5901 and enter the phone number of the mailbox you
want to send it to.
