Change the mandatory 3 digit dialing by following these tips:

Cable Box Remote:
1. Push menu button twice
2. Arrow down to setup, Push OK
3. Arrow down to guide setup, Push OK
4. arrow down to channel behavior
5. select auto tune
6. Exit

To change the display on the cable box from current channel to current time:
1. Push menu button twice
2. Arrow down to setup, Push OK
3. Arrow down to cable box setup, Push OK 4. arrow to right to see current time.
