Broadband
refers to telecommunication in which a wide band of frequencies
is available to transmit information. Because a wide band of frequencies
is available, information can be multiplexed and sent on many
different frequencies or channels within the band concurrently,
allowing more information to be transmitted in a given amount
of time (much as more lanes on a highway allow more cars to travel
on it at the same time).
Web
Addresses
In
the United States, there are five main web page endings. These
are intended to tell you where the information you are looking
at: comes from: ".edu" for educational institutions,
".gov" for government agencies, ".org" for
non-profit organizations, ".com" for commercial or business
sites, and ".net" for network providers. In countries
outside the United States, the Web addresses end with the country’s
abbreviation, such as ".jp", which means that the web
site comes from the Japan.

Basically
your phone sends out a high frequency radio signal of data and
then the person receives it. It's no different than using a walkie
talkie. Instead of an analog signal though, it's digital.
Area
Codes
The
above area codes are "Toll-Free" area codes. 855, 844,
833 and 822 area codes are planned but are not yet in use. These
can be used for any location in the USA or Canada, therefore it
is impossible to list the locations of the prefixes used in these
area codes.
